Proton Exora Bold dan Exora Prime dikuasakan enjin CamPro CFE 1.6 liter dengan sistem pengecas turbo, dengan anggaran kuasa sekitar 138hp dan 205Nm. Transmisi jenis CVT.



Say hello to this interesting looking Proton Exora! The thing that makes it interesting is of course the “CFE INSIDE” decal that can be seen on the driver’s door. We’ve been hearing the CFE term for quite a while now and it started way back in February this year when a test was carried out in the snow.

At this point, we’ve been told by a source that CFE stands for Charged Fuel Enhancement (and not the Campro Fuel Efficient term, as believed), and it’s a 1.6 litre Campro engine fitted with a turbocharger, IAFM and a direct injection fuel delivery system. This engine is also said to function with a continuously variable transmission (CVT) or a manual transmission, and is rumored to produce about 138 hp...

Spark Plug atau palam pencucuh dalam Bahasa Malaysia adalah pencucuh yang bertanggungjawab mencetuskan letupan dalam kebuk pembakaran anda. Jadi ianya terletak diantara luar enjin dan di dalam kebuk pembakaran. Jadi cuma Spark plug sahaja tahu apa yang berlaku dalam kebuk pembakaran anda!

Apa saja yang terjadi adalah jawapan atau penerangan kepada kondisi enjin dan kebuk pembakaran anda.


1. Berkeadaan Normal
Palam pencucuh ini beroperasi dalam keadaan normal di dalam suhu enjin yang baik dan enjin yang sihat. Dalam keadaan yang normal, palam pencucuh kelihatan sedikit perang atau kelabu akibat panas. Jika anda menggunakan NGV, ia akan kelihatan lebih perang dari palam pencucuh yang menggunakan petrol.

Selamat datang ke bahagian Advance Teknikal. Taklah hebat mana pun advance ni cuma rumit sikit je nak faham. Tapi bagus untuk yang dah start nak kacau-kacau enjin ke nak custom-custom tu... tapi sebelum kite kenal enjin, kenal VE tu ape.


Volumetric Efficiency atau dalam bahasa melayunye "kecekapan isipadu". Apesal nak cekap pulak kan? Korang dahla tak pandai fizik, ade yang taktau ape pasal fizik! Yang score fizik tu duduk diam-diam! Kang kene soal!

Enjin diukur dengan menggunakan unit SI liter atau cc (cubic centimeter). Contohnye enjin 1.5liter kite panggil 1500cc ataupun boleh jugak kata 1500ml tapi tak penah dibuat orang. Besar mana enjin 1.5 liter tu? Besar air coke botol besar tu je.. tapi ape kejadahnye besar sangat enjin dalam kereta tu? Yang 1.5 liter tu isipadu dalam silinder, jangan la pegi ukur besar mane block kereta tu!

8.000rpm is something not many road cars can do, especially not turbocharged ones.
9.000rpm is something even fewer cars can achieve. Notable mentions are high strung VTEC engines and the manically rotating Wankels.
10,000rpm you usually only see on YouTube videos.
What about a street car revving to 11.000rpm and with every gear shift comes the distinctive whistle of a blow off valve? We here at Speednation.tv have only witnessed that with Extreme Tuners Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution. The best part was, we got to ride shotgun while it was doing it!



The 4G63T has a well known reputation of being a bulletproof motor with tons of potential by being able to withstand increased boost pressure and producing lots of horsepower in the process.
It is though a hefty little engin...

Turbos make power by increasing the intake charge density by compressing the intake charge. Compressing the intake charge makes it hotter. Here is why. The ideal gas law, PV = nRT, states when you compress a gas, it heats up. Last night, I overheard a radio ad promoting a new Proton Inspira variant called the Proton Inspira R3. Curiously, there?s no information on such a product on Proton?s websites; however, an ad by a Proton salesperson on Mudah classifieds reveal to us a few details about this new kitted-up Inspira.

The Mudah ad details the Inspira R3 as being equipped with R3 accessories worth RM9,000, which includes a front bumper splitter, a blacked out R3 grille, sideskirts, a rear apron and a ducktail spoiler. There are also 18-inch Advanti Racing M8501 wheels in a design typical of R3′s styling, wrapped with 225/40R18 Yokohama AR01 tyres.

According to the ad, the Inspira R3 is limited to 100 units and is only available with a 1.8 litre engine manual transmission variant. We?ll bring you the full details and higher resolution images once we receive more information from Proton.

While both Gottlieb Daimler and Rudolf Diesel were tinkering with forced induction in the late 19th century, the first patent for a practical turbocharger (applied for in 1896) belongs to a Swiss mechanical engineer Alfred Buchi (pictured below).





The first mass-produced turbochargers came out of the General Electric factory in the early 1900s. Interested in the possibility of aviation usage, the company?s head engineer, Sanford Moss (pictured below), conducted tests to produce and maintain boost pressure at the altitude of over 14,000 feet at the top of Pike?s Peak in Colorado. His experiments paved the way for the usage of turbochargers in airplane engines.
